Real Time Surveillance & Infotainment on Bus
The JetBox 8180 industrial computer will be deployed in a mobile surveillance project for providing real time network video recording, remote viewing and infotainment system on bus.
Through the Gigabit port it will collect the large megapixel video images from in-bus cameras and using the DVI, display live video on the driver's monitor. Additionally, the second output of DVI port will be used to run traffic information, weather forecast or commercial videos on the LCD monitors. All the video images captured from cameras and all the data received from administrator will simply be stored on the hard drive or the SSD of the computer. By installing miniPCIe module and SIM slot for mobile expansion, the JetBox 8180 will enable the operator updating real-time location status of the bus via GPS and exchanging data with control center through wireless technology.
Combining low power consumption capability to its multifunctional design, the JetBox 8180 will become an ideal embedded system for high quality, real time surveillance and entertainment solution for the bus NVR system project.
High Quality Dual Display Kiosk Information Systems
The JetBox 8180 compact computer with low power consumption is planned to be installed inside dual display kiosks.
By using the gigabit connection it will collect the high-bandwidth information from the control center and pre-store it in the HD. Besides, it will use the antennas for SIM slot or miniPCIe mobile expansion for providing wireless connectivity. Using the DVI with dual display JetBox 8180 will allow the users to simultaneously connect to 2 monitors: one for commercial video display and the other for interactive purposes.
The Windows XP embedded in a CF card will further allow users to ensure system development and provide them with a ready-to-use functionality. They will be able to control the devices by keyboard / mouse and or a touch panel connected through the USB ports.
